♡ Rose's corral ♡
Hello there!!
Welcome and thank you for checking out this page, I really appreciate it. :3
I will mostly be writing general stuff about myself, so you can get to know me better! Also, I'll probably update this a lot; removing, rewriting or adding new stuff.
I'm a bit of a perfectionist, sowwy.
(Alsooo, there is a tiny chance that I might forget a few things about myself while writting this.)
Click on any of these!!
ok so hi again! I'm Rose Anna.
I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina the 1st of january, 2003.
(not a very cool day to be born to be honest, I haven't been able to invite anyone to my birthday like, ever, because of it happening literally on new year's eve. :<)I was recently diagnosed with ADHD, which explains a lot of things, difficulties and stuff that I have been experiencing for the entirety of my life; from having problems interacting with other people, maintaining friendships and making new friends to essencially working my way through life. It's been real hard but I think I'm going in the right track, at least for the time being.I've also been on HRT since october 2022!! (YAYY!!)
I still can't believe that to be honest. I guess a part of me thought that I would never get here, mostly because I was... super scared of opening myself to my family and telling them who I really am. Despite all of that, one day I simply told them that I was starting HRT, and they accepted me, and even helped me. I'm so happy for having them.
This is the longest section of all hehe
Let's see... I'll start talking about some games that I'm really fond of. :3
─ GAMES ─I like rhythm games A LOT: ✦ Parappa The Rapper 1 & 2
✦ Um Jammer Lammy
✦ Vib Ribbon
✦ Crypt Of The NecroDancer
✦ BPM: Bullets Per Minute
✦ The Rhythm Heaven series
✦ Rhythm Doctor
✦ A Dance Of Fire And Icesoooo if you like ANY of these games, we should totally talk (please I need friends)
anyways! these aren't the only games I like!I'm a bit of a Valve fangirl-
not something that I'm really proud as of lately
-BUT, the Half-Life & Portal franchise were a big part of my childhood, I grew up playing them, specially Half-Life.
I remember my dad shouting at me for wasting ammo shooting at walls when I was like 6. snjdksn
OH and, I can't forget Undertale / Deltarune. These two games kind of made me the person I am today, they accompanied me through very important moments of my life.I remember that just a few years ago I would curl up and cry just thinking about how awful and unfair the world was towards Asriel.
(Also go play Undertale Yellow if you haven't, it's free and it's incredible.)
Another great (and indie) game that I love with all my heart is Cave Story. The music, the characters, the graphics, aaa,,
Please, if you haven't played it, you totally should.
Pixel (the game's creator) is also a big inspiration for me, he made the game ALL BY HIMSELF.(god he even made the program in which he composed the music and sound effects for the game.)You can get Cave Story+ on Steam, or you can get the original freeware release of the game at the Cave Story website!. :3
❁There are a few other games that I like a lot and that I often forget to talk about, probably because some of them aren't really known or I don't have a lot to say about them, sooo I will mention and maybe talk a bit about them down here:
✦ Dishonored
(I really, really like Dishonored a looooooot.
It's such a fun and cool game that clearly draws a lot of inspiration from Half-Life 2's physics and world interactions. I highly recommend it if you haven't played it.)✦ Streets Of Rogue
(one of my favorite roguelike games of all time, also, the sequel is almost out YIPPIEEE)✦ Max Payne 2
(One of my top favorite games of all time, alongside with Half-Life.)✦ No More Room In Hell
(for some reason I love Source zombie mods, even the awful ones. They all got some kind of charm.)✦ Sonic CD
(yes, I'm one of the few persons in the world who thinks it is a good game. What I specially love about this game is the music though.)✦ Warcraft III & The Frozen Throne
(I'm a big nerd for this game in particular, I've played the campaign countless times. I haven't mentioned it but I really enjoy RTS games.)✦ Terraria
✦ Pseudoregalia
✦ Rimworld
✦ Barotrauma
✦ Cult Of The Lamb
✦ SuperFighters Deluxe
✦ Frostpunk
✦ Katana Zero
✦ Quake III
✦ World Of Warcraft
✦ Red Alert 2
✦ Team Fortress 2
And I think that's it!
At least for talking about games. skfndn
─ Other stuff that I like that I don't know how to categorize ─I will mostly talk bit a about shows, movies, comics and stuff that I like here on this part.
(sorry if I get a bit sidetracked snkdsnd)I like MLP (My Little Pony), I can't say I'm like, a big fan, but I certainly enjoyed watching the show. :3
I even made my own ponysona!
She's called Lydian Chords!
I thought it was a pretty original name, I really love the lydian scale (music theory stuff) (big nerd)And yea! I also play Pony Town from time to time.
I like to hang out with people and just talk about random stuff. For some reason I feel like the game makes it a lot easier to connect with them.
I've also read Homestuck!
Nepeta Leijon was my main reason for starting reading it, and I don't regret a single thing. :3Also here's Davria Irmioh, my trollsona!
She's a Rogue of Void.

I've been practicing and learning how to code and do game development since... 2021 I think?I first started with Python alongside with Pygame, mostly because of how comfy it was to develop games and stuff with them.
Also Python kind of forced me to write "good" code when making games because of how... how to say it... lacking it is in terms of perfomance, which is actually not so bad if what you want to do isn't really graphics intensive. But!! I've moved to Godot a few months ago.
I'm really loving it, I really needed to learn the basics of programming with Python though so I don't regret not moving to Godot sooner.I'm just doing 2D stuff at the moment, but I really want to get into 3D games soon. :3
I also try to make music, sometimes!!
I've been practicing music composition since 2018-2019.
Here! Have a listen.
(sorry if the music is too loud, I can't really do anything about it :<)
Another nerdy thing that I love to do sometimes is building maps on the Hammer Editor (Source's engine level creator).
I haven't worked on anything too big or complex yet, I mostly just build small places, like streets, or indoor sections.I even made a complete recreation of my house one time, interior and all. It was a lot of fun. nskdnHere are a few screenshots of some things I've made!
